RAFP Spring Challenge
March 2023 through April 2023
Each Spring the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry challenges local residents to contribute to the Annual RAFP Spring Challenge. All monetary donations and pledges will be matched at the 1% level by a generous donor. That means your donation gets an increase! To help during the RAFP Spring Challenge, monetary donations can be made through our website, mailed directly to the RAFP or to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry c/o BMO Harris Bank, 7 N. Brown Street, Rhinelander, WI 54501. Donations of non-perishable food items can also be dropped off at the RAFP at 627 Coon Street from 9am to 12pm Monday through Friday.

Garden Fresh Salad Bowl Luncheon
Saturday, April 29th, 2023 - 11am to 1:30pm at Holiday Acres Resort
The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry's Annual Garden Fresh Salad Bowl Luncheon is hosted at Holiday Acres on beautiful Lake Thompson. This luncheon features a variety of signature salads donated by area restaurants, live music, a silent auction and raffle that includes planted baskets, planters, pots and handmade items donated by area growers, merchants and craftsmen. All proceeds benefit the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.

Harvest Hoedown
Saturday, September 30, 2023
This annual fall-themed event features live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, handmade crafts, homemade baked goods and more! PLUS Packer ticket raffles, basket raffles, and fun activities for the entire family. Admission is free and open to the public. All proceeds will benefit the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. Contact us if you would like to volunteer or donate a raffle basket or handmade crafts.

Scouts & Post Office Food Drives
April 2023 & May 2023
Look for the bag! A bag is placed on mailboxes and front doors to collect non-perishable food items. These bags are filled by you and then collected by the Scouts or the Post Office and delivered to the RAFP. This is an easy way to make a difference!

Trig's Stuff-A-Truck
Each year, Trig's Grocery hosts a food drive to support local community food pantries. Shoppers are able to make donations at checkout or purchase non-perishable food items to donate. They also have the option to purchase pre-packed bags of food or personal care items. Donation boxes are set up at each location.
